As of 2 October 2026, two real 100-milers are on our calendar for 2027: the Ultra Trail de la Sibérie in February and the NFW100 in April. Two more follow this autumn. A mile is 160.9 km, but organisers round, so the distances below run from 160 to 200 km.
| Race | Date | Start | Distance | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ultra Trail Kempen | 31 Oct 2026 | Malle (BE) | 160 km | 32-hour limit, 357 m of climbing, sand and pine forest. Capped at 400 runners across all distances. |
| The Bello Gallico | 11 Dec 2026 | Oud-Heverlee (BE) | 200 km | Two 100 km loops in opposite directions. Starts Friday at 20:00, 44-hour limit. |
| Ultra Trail de la Sibérie | 20 Feb 2027 | Profondeville (BE) | 160 km | 5,500 m of climbing in winter. Solo or as a pair. |
| NFW100 | 24 Apr 2027 | Feanwâlden (NL) | 161 km | About 179 m of climbing, no time limit, 50 runners, €16.10. Starts Saturday at 14:00. |
179 to 5,500 metres of climbing
The NFW100 runs the whole Streekpad Noardlike Fryske Wâlden in one go, about 161 km on sand paths and farm tracks. The Kempen has 357 m of climbing, and there the loose sand decides the race. The Sibérie climbs 5,500 m over 160 km, in February, in the mud above the Meuse.
What is not on the list
The 100-miler at the Grand Trail des Lacs & Châteaux (160 km, 6,300 m of climbing) is on pause, and the organisers say it returns in 2029. In 2027 the 87 km in the Hautes Fagnes is the longest distance there. Luxembourg has no race of this length on the calendar for 2027 yet.
If a mile is not enough, there are two options. The Legends Trail is 350 km non-stop through the Ardennes and starts on 25 February 2027 at 18:00 in Ferrières. At the first edition, 15 of the 47 starters finished. Another One Bites the Dust is a backyard ultra in Bierbeek on 2 July 2027. Anyone who completes 34 loops of 5.959 km, 202.6 km, gets the finisher medal.
The full list is on the 100-mile races in the Benelux page. It changes when an organiser announces a new date.
